CUEVAS Y CÍA VISITS THE 24TH EDITION OF MADRID FUSIÓN

On 26, 27 and 28 January, part of the Cuevas y Cía team attended the 24th edition of the Madrid Fusión gastronomic fair. From the stand of the Xunta de Galicia and the Axencia Galega de Calidade Alimentaria (Agacal), Cuevas y Cía had the opportunity to showcase its wide range of marron glacé products, as well as the latest additions to the family, such as chestnut cream and marron glacé pieces.

These three days were undoubtedly very interesting, filled with visits and meetings with chefs, culinary students and chestnut lovers, who enjoyed tastings of products from the Cuevas Chef line, where the recent addition, goat's cheese with marron glacé, took centre stage, becoming a favourite among many of the visitors.

Rocío Cid, manager of Cuevas y Cía, also received some very special visitors, such as Martín Alemparte, director of the Galician Food Quality Agency; María José Gómez, Regional Minister for Rural Affairs in the Xunta de Galicia; and Alejandro Paadín, organiser of gastronomic events, with whom she exchanged views on the gastronomic value of chestnuts and their use in haute cuisine, as well as the evolution of the sector and new brand proposals.
